Hi, my name is Brent. I have been a qualified mechanic for over 28 years. I have previously worked in a high-volume multi-franchise car dealership for 20 years. 10 of those years I was employed in the used car reconditioning department. I personally had to sign off on and inspect 1000s of used cars for RWC and general quality.
My pre-purchase vehicle inspections are comprehensive and include jacking up the vehicle, a test drive, a safety check, a written report plus plenty of photos of the vehicle during the inspection. I will also remove the lower engine cover or stone guard. This is critical in an inspection so I can properly view the chassis rails, lower gearbox, and engine for any oil leaks.
On-site convenience and face to face communication avoids any $$ surprises. I only use quality oils and filters. I do a full safety check on every service which includes full brake and tyre check and report. Also the front end and suspension components and more.
Please send me a message if you need a car inspected, a service or brakes

I strongly recommend when you purchase a used vehicle that the seller provides the RWC CERTIFICATE. If not you run the risk of the mechanic doing the RWC inspection failing certain items that you or i may believe would pass a RWC inspection. If not you run the risk of the mechanic doing the RWC inspection failing certain items that you or i may believe would pass a RWC inspection. That is their interpretation and you will be bound by that as it is their RWC licence. My pre-purchase inspection is not a RWC inspection. The Report provided to you by BMP car inspections and servicing is only current as at the time it is issued. It is your responsibility (as a buyer) to conduct a visual inspection of the vehicle at the point of sale as BMP car inspections can only advise on the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. The report is not a roadworthy certificate
BMP car inspections and servicing does not check for any manufacturer recall notices but BMP strongly recommends that you check that the vehicle is not subject to a recall notice. NOTE: THE AIRBAG RECALL SHOULD BE CHECKED ASAP!! You understand that the Report is not, and should not be considered to be a recommendation to purchase or not

NOTE: THE AIRBAG RECALL SHOULD BE CHECKED ASAP!! You understand that the Report is not, and should not be considered to be a recommendation to purchase or not to purchase a vehicle. The decision to purchase a vehicle is your own having regard to such matters as you consider relevant having regard to your own circumstances and your own investigations and inquiries.
Please be aware that i can not guarantee any chassis inconsistencies on 4 x4 vehicles as only a measurement protocol at a chassis specialist could pick up an issue. If the vehicle i am inspecting does have autonomous braking, meaning that the vehicle is designed to brake automatically if it detects a car has stopped in front of you, i DO NOT test this function for obvious safety reasons.

The inspection of any vehicle undertaken by BMP car inspections and servicing is VISUAL and non-mechanical only and BMP car inspections and servicing will not be responsible for any defects that are latently discovered were not visually apparent during the inspection. At times i may be restricted to the speed limit of that particular area on a test drive. It is not always possible to reach speeds of 80 to 100km/hr
NOTE: Some transmissions are filled for life and do not have dipsticks to check the fluid level or condition. Also, a lot of car manufacturers are using CVT, continuously variable transmissions. Nissan, Toyota, and Subaru, Honda to name a few. Please do your research about them as their drivability is different to the old style transmissions.
If the vehicle is noted as dirty inspection it can be very difficult finding paint imperfections
